Herbed Garlic Steak with Roasted Vegetables

Why it’s fertility-friendly:

  • Steak (lean cut like sirloin or ribeye) → rich in zinc and iron, important for sperm health and ovulation.
  • Garlic & herbs → anti-inflammatory and good for blood circulation.
  • Roasted veggies (carrots, bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli) → fiber and antioxidants for gut health.

Ingredients (2 servings):

  1. 2 lean steaks (6–8 oz each)
  2. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  3. 2 tbsp olive oil
  4. 1 tsp rosemary or thyme
  5. Salt & black pepper
  6. 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss veggies with olive oil, salt, pepper, and roast for 20–25 minutes.
  3. Rub steaks with garlic, olive oil, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grill or pan-sear 4–5 minutes per side (medium) or to your liking.

Side Dish: Garlic Mashed Sweet Potatoes

  • Why: Sweet potatoes are loaded with beta-carotene and support hormone balance.
  • Mash them with roasted garlic and a little butter (or olive oil) for creamy comfort food.

Quick How-To:

  1. Boil 2 medium sweet potatoes until soft.
  2. Mash with 1 tbsp butter, roasted garlic, salt, and a splash of milk.

Optional Side: Quinoa or Brown Rice Pilaf

  • Adds whole-grain fiber for gut health.
  • Cooked in chicken or vegetable broth for extra flavor.

Dessert: Dark Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

  • Why: Dark chocolate = antioxidants for sperm health; strawberries = vitamin C to improve circulation and immunity.

Quick How-To:

  1. Melt dark chocolate (70%+ cocoa).
  2. Dip strawberries, place on parchment paper, refrigerate until set.
