Carrot + Orange + Ginger Juice
For individuals with ADHD, supporting gut health may play a role in boosting concentration, balancing energy, and calming the body. And one of the easiest ways to start is with nutrient-packed juices that fuel both your belly and your brain.
Here’s one of my favorite blends:
✨ Why it’s good for your gut
- Carrots → Rich in fiber, they help keep your digestion smooth and your microbiome happy.
- Ginger → Known for soothing the stomach, reducing bloating, and supporting gut motility.
🧠 Why it may support ADHD
- Oranges → Packed with vitamin C, which helps regulate neurotransmitters and may support brain function.
- Ginger → Boosts circulation, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to the brain for sharper focus.
🛒 Ingredients (1 serving)
- 2 medium carrots (peeled & chopped)
- 2 oranges (peeled & segmented)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled)
- ½ cup cold water (optional, for blending)
- Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
👩🍳 Steps
- Wash & Prep → Wash the carrots and peel if needed. Peel the oranges and ginger.
- Juice or Blend →
- If using a juicer: Add carrots, oranges, and ginger to your juicer.
- If using a blender: Blend all ingredients with ½ cup water until smooth, then strain using a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
- Serve → Pour into a glass over ice for a refreshing finish.
- Sip & Enjoy → Take a mindful moment while drinking—your gut and brain will thank you.
👉 Pro Tip: Want an extra ADHD-friendly boost? Add a handful of spinach for magnesium (linked to better focus) or a teaspoon of chia seeds for slow-release energy.
Tasty, gut-friendly, and brain-nourishing—all in one glass.
